TRIBE TERMS

STARSEE-ER

the sole cat who leads the tribe. they make decisions for the good of the tribe, and may also recieve advice from the starwalkers.

SKYSPEAKER

the sole cat responsible for tending to their tribemates' wounds. they are able to speak to and interpret the starwalkers' words.

SHARPCLAW

the cats trained for battle; they take the role of offense in the event of an attack, and drive the enemies as far back from the camp as possible.

DAYRUNNER

the group of cats who act as scouts, patrolling and monitoring activity among their borders. in the event of an ambush, they are the first to know.

KITWATCHER

the cats who are expecting or caring for kits of their own. this rank also includes cats who chose to care for others' kits, in order to able the parents to hunt, relax, and, if need be, fight.

KIT

the youngest members of the tribe; cared for by the kitwatchers. 

STARTELLER

advisor and press secretary to the starsee-er. this cat is highly respected, and controls the image and reputation of the starsee-er.

SKYFOLLOWER

the apprentice of the skyspeaker; they are trained to heal both on the battlefield and off. until they take over the skyspeaker role, they are unable to speak to starwalkers.

STRONGCLAW

the group of cats who, during a battle, stay in camp to guard and defend the weakest members.

YOUNGPAW

the young cats enrolled in basic training. during their mentoring, the highest ranking member of each rank (sharpclaw, strongclaw, dayrunner) determine the rank the young cat would perform best in.

ELDER

the tribe members who are too old or otherwise disabled and unable to fight and hunt for themselves.
